Claire Bennett – Conference & Events Manager
Leading the team for sales, conference and event management. In my spare time I love cycling, canoeing and gundog training.
Frances Thompson – Operations Manager
Overseeing the operations and management of events. Having worked at the University for 20 years, I’ve seen a lot of positive changes and exciting developments and enjoy being part of the Conference team.
Lauren Gallagher – Conference Sales Manager
I’m absolutely delighted to join York Conferences and am keen to make people aware of the amazing facilities we offer. In my spare time, I like to travel and explore new places, socialise with friends and try and keep fit.
Jo Hilton-Scott – Sales and Events Coordinator
Being main point of contact for clients from enquiry through to their event. I taught myself how to design and make mohair artist teddy bears.
Alex Wallis – Sales and Events Coordinator
Being the main point of contact for clients from enquiry through to their event. I like to spend my time cooking and watching musicals. I also really enjoy going on long walks and in September I walked the Yorkshire Three Peaks for charity – it was definitely an experience!
Fiona Barrow – Sales and Events Coordinator
I look after events on our lovely campus and enjoy being able to offer unique spaces that are hard to find elsewhere.
Natalie Martin – Sales and Events Coordinator
I look after events on our lovely campus at Heslington which also holds some very fond childhood memories when I would spend time here with my late grandparents. I also look after events at King’s Manor. In my free time, I enjoy Thai boxing with my personal trains; this keeps me fit as I also enjoy cooking and eating out. I can often be found arranging a holiday to a new and exciting place in the world.
Danny Knight – Sales Executive
Finding new business and increasing sales. My role at York Conferences is to introduce our unique venues to new businesses and let them know the fantastic services we have to offer. In my free time I love photography, keeping active, visiting new places and eating out. One of my lifetime goals is to become a private pilot.
Emma Owens – Sales Executive
Finding new business and increasing sales. My role at York Conferences involves initiating contact with new businesses and showing them all of the fantastic facilities we have to offer. I enjoy spending my free time exploring new places, learning about different cultures and meeting new people.
Sally Bowler – Finance Administrator
Being the main point of contact for any accounting related queries. I live in East Yorkshire and have two dogs, Edward and Judy, who I really enjoy walking in the countryside. I have an AAT Level 4 Diploma in Accounting.
