what is TUCO Conference?
TUCO is the leading professional membership body for in-house caterers operating in the higher, further education and public sector. On 29th – 31st July 2019, TUCO held their annual conference at the University of York with York Conferences and Events. The 2019 theme was ‘Driving Commercial Success’ and bought together an eventful few days of inspiration for caterers and foodservice professionals.
Where was it?
With a vast programme of events, the multi-day conference utilised the numerous venues and accommodation that the University of York has to offer. With gala dinners and conferences held in the York Sport Area, arrival drinks at the Roger Kirk Centre and a Mardis Gras Themed Event held in Gregg’s Place overlooking the lake and Central Hall.
The exhibition, held in the York Sport Arena played host to over 50 commercial catering brands, showcasing their products whilst breakout areas hosted individual seminars, keynote speaker talks, presentations and discussion panels.
Our award winning catering teams provided the catering services for all the events on campus, from street food to formal dining and our versatile spaces were easily transformed each day depending on the style of the event taking place.
