King’s Manor is a Grade 1 listed building nestled in the centre of York, just a short walk from the train station. Steeped in history, this stunning and unique conference venue dates back to the 16th Century when it was built to house the Abbots of St Mary’s Abbey. Our Award-winning catering is available at King’s Manor, where we can cater for up to to 90 delegates.

Cars and Parking:

If you are arriving by car, please note that there is no parking available at King’s Manor. There are pay and display car parks within the city centre, as well at the multi-storey Q-Park at the Shambles.

Trains and Taxis:

York train station is a short ten minute walk from King’s Manor. There is a frequent, fast train service to York on the East Coast Main Line from London King’s Cross to Edinburgh. There is also a direct service between York, Leeds and Manchester Airport.

Please note that Uber are not licensed within the city of York.

The University campus is a short bus (66) or taxi ride direct from the railway station. There is a bus stop and taxi rank just outside the main station entrance. A taxi from the railway station will take approximately 15 minutes while a bus will take around 22 minutes.

The university’s approved taxi provider is Streamline Taxis. Please note that Uber are not licensed within the city of York.
