what is BBC Question Time?
Question Time is a topical debate programme aired on the BBC in which guests from the worlds of politics and the media answer questions posed by members of the public. Venues across the country play host to the programme each year where York’s edition is situated at the University of York in The Ron Cooke Hub’s Atrium Space.
Where was it?
The Ron Cooke Hub has a fantastically spacious and versatile atrium space that can be literally transformed into a television set! Often used for exhibitions markets or fairs, the Ron Cooke Hub on the University of York’s Campus East has seen multiple events make use of the space, such as York’s Festival of Ideas for example.
With high ceilings and panoramic views of the lake, the space offers limitless possibilities for set and technical requirements that may be restricted by height. Lighting and sound rigs can easily fit into the space and we also have an onsite Audio-Visual team who are available for technical assistance and support for your event.
